Federal District services available on the phone, with the gov.br federal login.
Project context
What DF citizens could already do on the web, and what was missing to bring government to their phones.
What used to be a portal became an app.
Citizens of the Federal District already had government services gathered on the web. What was missing was reaching them where they handle the rest of life: on the phone, standing on the street, the moment the problem shows up.
Central IT built eGDF with CITSmart Mobile Studio, the Aura assistant and AI, in short cycles, tested by the users themselves and published to the app stores in record time.

Strategic points
Challenges
Federal District Government services were already gathered on the web, but remained far from those who need them out on the street: a blocked drain, a question about vaccination, a repair request.
What was missing was a channel that fits in a pocket, recognises the citizen without demanding a new registration, and accepts what they have at hand to describe a problem: a photo and the location.
Solution
Central IT developed eGDF with CITSmart Mobile Studio, the Aura assistant and AI. Access uses the gov.br federal login, and those who prefer can continue without logging in, with open services available.
The app brings together the service catalogue by category, a virtual assistant that guides citizens across ten areas of public policy, issue reporting with photo and location, and government news. It was built in short cycles, tested directly by users and published to the stores in record time.
Measurable delivery
Results and impact on the public sector
What changes when public service stops waiting for citizens to sit in front of a computer.
Results
Virtual assistant guiding across ten areas, from dengue to housing.
Issues reported with photo and location, from where the problem actually is.
Requests tracked in real time, inside the app itself.
Published to the stores in record time, with short cycles and user testing.
Impact
eGDF shortened the distance between citizen and government to the size of a pocket. What used to require finding the right agency, discovering the channel and waiting for business hours now fits in an app that recognises who is on the other side and accepts a photo as the description of the problem.
Because this is our business: empowering people. Impacting organizations.
